No-Refund Policy
At Jamie Cakes, we are committed to delivering high-quality baked goods and services. Due to the nature of our products and events, we have a strict No-Refund Policy, as outlined below:
Cakes & Special Orders
A non-refundable deposit of 50% must be made before the creation of any custom cake or special order. unless canceled within 48 hours of the original order.
The remaining balance must be paid in full upon delivery or pick-up unless otherwise negotiated.
Orders will not be fulfilled without full payment.
Services & Baking Classes
All sales are final upon request of services, including but not limited to baking classes and custom orders.
Payments for services must be made by the required dates specified for each event. These deadlines will be determined and posted with the event details.
Order Modifications & Cancellations
Changes to orders may be considered only if requested at least one week before the scheduled pick-up or delivery.
No refunds will be provided for cancellations after payment has been made.
Quality Assurance
We strive for excellence in every order. If there is an issue with your order, please notify us immediately upon receipt. While we do not offer refunds, we may provide a replacement or other specified credit at our discretion if a verified issue arises.
Responsibility After Pick-Up or Delivery
Once an order has left our premises or been picked up, Jamie Cakes is no longer responsible for any damages. Please follow proper storage and handling instructions.
By placing an order or booking a service with Jamie Cakes, you acknowledge and agree to this No-Refund Policy.

Cancellation Policy
At Jamie Cakes, we understand that plans may change. However, due to the time and resources that go into preparing each order, we have established the following Cancellation Policy:
Cakes & Special Orders
Cancellations must be made at least one week (7 days) before the scheduled pick-up or delivery date to avoid full charges.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable, unless canceled within48 hours of the original order.
If a cancellation is made less than one week before the scheduled date, the full payment is still required, and no refunds will be issued.
Baking Classes & Events
Cancellations must be made at least one week before the event to receive a credit for a future class/event.
No refunds will be given for missed classes or events, but in some cases, a credit may be applied toward a future session.
If Jamie Cakes cancels an event or class, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Modifications to Orders
Any changes to cake designs, flavors, or event participation must be requested at least one week before the scheduled date.
Last-minute changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
No-Show Policy
If an order is not picked up on the agreed-upon date and time, Jamie Cakes will make attempts to reach out to the customer.
The cake will be held for an additional 48 hours. If no response is received within that timeframe, Jamie Cakes reserves the right to sell the cake elsewhere, and no refund will be provided.

Photo & Social Media Policy
At Jamie Cakes, we love showcasing our custom cakes, desserts, and events! To ensure clarity and transparency, we have established the following Photo & Social Media Policy:
Use of Photos for Promotional Purposes
We reserve the right to photograph any cakes, baked goods, or services provided by Jamie Cakes before delivery, pick-up, or during events.
These photos may be used for marketing, advertising, social media, and portfolio purposes on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, our website, and other promotional materials.
Client Photos & Tags
If you share photos of your Jamie Cakes order on social media, we would love to see them! Tag us at [your social media handle] so we can feature your post.
We may request permission to share customer-submitted photos on our platforms.
Privacy & Event Photography
For private events and baking classes, we may take photos or videos for promotional use. If an event participant prefers not to be photographed, they must notify us before the event begins. We will ask for a verbal consent in person to ensure everyone is comfortable.
No personal or identifying information of clients will be shared without consent.
Opt-Out Policy
If you do not wish for your cake, event, or any photos related to your order to be shared, please inform us at the time of booking via email or written request.
We will respect all opt-out requests, but once content is posted, it may not be possible to remove all instances from the internet.

Allergy & Ingredient Disclaimer
At Jamie Cakes, we take great care in preparing our baked goods with high-quality ingredients. However, we want to ensure that all customers are aware of potential allergens and ingredient risks before placing an order.

Design & Customization Policy
At Jamie Cakes, we take pride in creating beautiful and delicious custom cakes and desserts. To ensure clarity and consistency, we have established the following Design & Customization Policy:
Creative Interpretation
While we strive to match inspiration photos and design requests as closely as possible, all cakes are subject to artistic interpretation.
Exact replicas of another baker’s work or copyrighted designs (such as character cakes) may not be possible due to legal and creative reasons.
Design Approvals & Changes
Customers may request design changes up to one week before the scheduled pick-up or delivery.
Last-minute changes are subject to approval and may result in additional charges.
If a custom design is not specified, Jamie Cakes will use its discretion to create a visually appealing product.
Color & Decoration Variations
Colors may vary slightly due to different food dye brands, lighting, and ingredient differences.
Fresh flowers, edible decorations, and hand-crafted elements may have slight variations based on availability.
Cake Toppers & Accessories
Customers may provide their own non-edible cake toppers or decorations, but Jamie Cakes is not responsible for their placement or stability after pick-up/delivery.
Specialty decorations, such as gold leaf, edible images, or intricate sugar work, may incur additional costs.
Structural & Environmental Factors
Cakes are delicate and should be stored properly to maintain their design and quality. Jamie Cakes is not responsible for damages due to improper handling, transportation, or environmental conditions (e.g., heat, humidity).
Multi-tiered cakes and sculpted designs require extra care; we provide basic instructions, but responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer once it has left our premises.
Delivery Fees & Policy
A delivery fee of $5 applies to locations within Eugene.
A delivery fee of $10 applies to locations within Springfield.
Additional delivery charges will be discussed for any locations outside of these areas based on distance and travel time.
Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the cake at the scheduled delivery time. If no one is present, the cake will be returned to Jamie Cakes, and the customer must arrange for pick-up. No refunds will be issued for failed deliveries.
Final Approval & Responsibility
Customers will receive a final confirmation before pick-up/delivery. Any concerns about the cake’s design should be addressed immediately upon receipt.
No refunds or redesigns will be issued once a cake has been approved and picked up or delivered.
